BeiNG A Facilitator

Salam to all bloggers..today is Sunday. I want to get full rest since I had worked hard since last few days till last night. Actually, GCU had organizing Peers Induction 2010 conducted by Peers Group which mostly are second year students. Although I'm new in PJ campus but I feel so happy because all peers had welcomed us[ peers from Nilai campus]. We were greeted well. I could feel that this group really suits me from my first impression during our first meeting.

Peers' Booth...
Starting from Monday, 14th June 2010 until 16th June 2010 we had opened our booth for new intake students from first year students. Luckily, I had a chance to be at the booth for the first day from 11.30 a.m until 1 p.m. It was an exciting experience which remind me of being a cashier at KFC last year. Greeting students and promoting the society were just nice with my working experience..[haha] So far, till the second day we got a very warm welcome from first year students. Mostly, they were PRS since secondary school. So, they would like to continue this kind of job in university level- same goes to me.

Peers' Introduction Night
On that night, again and again I was assigned by Ikhsan to be at the registration booth. As always, I was delighted to do my job as long as I was willing to do it. This event was held on Wednesday, 16th June 2010 at Lecture Hall A, CFS IIUM, PJ Campus. The hall was really full of students who interested in PEERS. And I had a chance to have new friends from 2nd year Peers and first year students. Since I'm new in PJ, many of them asked about my experience being in this campus. So far, I'm not having any big trouble living in this campus as long as we are welcomed. So, I had a new friend named Azwan who was really really funny and full of sense humor. Talking to him made me laughing most of the time. That's good because it helps me to maintain 'muda'[bahase rojak sket]..

PEERS' Induction 2010
On 18th-19th of June 2010, there was held the Peers' Induction 2010 conducted by 2nd year Peers Committees. I felt so excited [really excited], can't wait so long. Maybe because it was my first time to be a real facilitator and be involved in those activities. Besides, I also cannot wait to handle Indoor Activities-LDK because most of the activities were my idea which I got from my previous experiences. For me, it was just an experiment- if the module was a success, then we can use it for another program and maybe we can alter or modify some of it so that it will be better in the future. That was for my personal achievement..
18th June 2010, all the participants were gathered at ANNEX 102 for Ice-breaking activity. Each group will be given two facilitators- one brother and one sister. So, my partner, Rafiq Zain and I was assigned to facilitate group 4. My group consisted of 8 sisters and 2 brothers. The first activity was 'My First Kipas' which the objective was about first impression. From this activity, I got to know people's first impression towards me. Mostly they are positive one. But I guess their first impression towards me will change when they know me soon..haha..Then, each group was assigned to create logo and cheers in about 30 minutes. [Apelagi, pulun habis2 arr nak siapkan sume tu..hihi] Presentation time..

Waa, this was a real thing happened to me. I got happy go lucky group and perfect partner[ giler2] to handle this job.

The second day again was something really precious that I got. We had Explorace in the morning, proceeded with preparation for Performance Night and lunch time. Garuda had no luck in the Explorace as they cannot get the first place but I think they had done well..At 2.30 pm, we started LDK1 session with Easy Drawing activity which aimed to promote basic skills of communication and leadership skill. Another two activities- cross hand and misunderstand were quite interesting especially when I watched them on how to solve the crossing hand. Misunderstand was really funny, I thought I had laughed so much and I was really entertained with the brothers and sisters. LDK2 started right after Asar prayer in which each group was assigned to make a parachute by using egg, plastic and newspaper. The parachute made must not break the egg when it is launched. The objective of this activity is to acquire creative and critical thinking among the participants. As facilitator, we helped them to make the parachute and so far the egg was......retak.[haha...fizik x lepas, salah konsep] [Pecah pecah pecah,

Garuda performed Nasyid that night entitled Remaja by UNIC. The theme REVOLUTION for Performance Night was able to create various version of revolution and polish up their talents. There were Boria, Dikir Barat, Pentomen and Drama besides Nasyid which performed by all groups. Some performance were really good and creative...thumbsup~
The result was announced. Garuda got the second place for the whole activities and the group leader was awarded as The Best Leader..congrats to all of you!!!

hari yang penuh DUGAAN..

Salam diucapkan buat semua yang melawati blog usang saya ini. Terlalu banyak yang ingin saya ceritakan tentang apa yang berlaku pada saya hari ini. Sabtu, 12 Jun 2010.... mungkin satu tarikh yang tidak akan saya lupakan apabila pertama kali berpeluang keluar outing bersama sahabat2 saya.

Pertama sekali, apa yang terjadi seawal pagi tadi benar2 membuatkan saya tersedar dari tidur yang panjang. Bangun dari tidur, saya terus menggosok pakaian lantas ke bilik air untuk membersihkan diri. Setengah jam kemudian, Husna kulihat sedang mencuci pakaiannya. Dan dia bertanya, "Ika bawak kunci kan?". Lalu aku menjawab, "tak" dengan perasaan yang kurang enak.
"Kita cakap ngan Una suruh bawak kunci tadi," tapi dia membalas, " ingat Ika bawa sebab Una ngantuk tadi,'. Jadi, apakah petandanya itu?? Ada haiwan dalam bahaya[ ikut nada Wonderpets]..

Maknanya, kenalah ambil kunci di Post Guard..hua3~ Pe cer ni??
Malang sekali lagi menimpa kami apabila Mak Guard x muncul2 di posisinya. Tunggu punya tunggu, sampai pukul 11 lebih baru lah dapat masuk bilik. Sumpah x buat lagi pas ni...arghh!! Sabar lah HATI.. Apalagi, kami pun bersiap2 untuk keluar outing, gopoh sampai Husna tertinggal spek..[haha]

Maka, berjalan2 lah tiga orang dara pinggitan di dalam MID VALLEY mencari sesuatu...Kisah bermula apabila ingin menonton wayang namun terhalang kerana ramainya manusia yang beratur. Lantas, masa yang ada perlu dimanfaatkan dengan memenuhi kehendak hati. Berjalan lagi sehinggalah berhenti makan dan solat zohor. Sesekali kami berhenti dari kedai ke kedai bagi mencuci mata. Ada lah beberapa barang yang kami beli sebagai kenanagn..[ gaya macam first time gi Mid jer]

Perjalanan pulang merupakan satu lagi DUGAAN buat kami. MAcam mana nak balik ni?? Naik bas mana?? ah, sudah..jangan buat hal lagi~ Apelagi, mesej YAn la nak tanya balik kena naik bas mana..katanya U85. Senang hati dah tau, jadi menjadi penunggu yang setia lah kami di sana. Disebabkan lama menunggu dah kesabaran sudah berlalu, maka kami naik bau Metro 10 yang ade tertulis PJ sebagai destinasi. Nak sangat survive kan?? amek kau kena turun tepi jalan kat PJ, syeksen berapa aku pun tak tau.

Tapi nasib baik masa tu kami berlima- dua orang budak Law yang baru aku kenal hari ni. Menapaklah kami ke tempat yang pad hemat kami sudah tidah jauh dari kampus, sehinggalah kami berhenti di hentian teksi dan bercadang untuk naik teksi memandangkan ia lebih selamat. Akhirnya, kami tiba juga di kampus dengan jayanya.

Muka kegembiraan jelas terpancar sebaik sahaja tiba di mahallah..

Ade hajat nak jadi model MPH ke Asmaa?

Ni lah ape yang kami beli dari sana...

FASTRAIN 2010

Salam to all bloggers..
This is one of my experience in attending a program under FRC last weekend. The program was held at Kem Rimba Ria, Sg. Congkak, Hulu Langat. Actually, members from both campuses were combined which I think is better. This is because, there were so many members from both campuses who cannot attend the program. Some have to go home amd some have another commitment. As Laws students have return to PJ campus, we really agree to the decision of combining both campuses as we have many friends there. Actually, only three Laws students attended this program which I think it's very bad, even my best freind have to back home for emergency. The three luckiest sisters were Syazwani, Fatimah and me.

We departed from PJ campus at 5.45 p.m on Friday, 4th June 2010. I sat alone in the bus seat because no Asmaa( sob3.. ). I can't sleep because i was quite worry and had mixed feeling. To make it short, we arrived there at 7.30 p.m. After maghrib prayer, we had our dinner- a very mouth watering dinner. So, we enjoyed the moment. Then, we had the opening ceremony which I could say was not a formal one but relaxed. This time, the LTD staffs handled the program- both staffs from PJ and Nilai Campus. The night was ended with the introducing of FRC syura council for both Campuses.

Saturday, 9th June 2010...
We started our day with subuh congregational prayer and Dhuha prayer. After that, we did some warming up and jogged along the roadside about 1 km..if I not mistaken. It's good for health actually and I really like this kind of program if there's indoor and outdoor activities. My body was refreshed and recharged. Talk and talk till the end of night. But, during that evening we had our free outdoor activities. So, the girls decided to take bath or more specifically to swim in the river. As I stepped into the river, I was fully excited because the water was really cold and made me calm for seconds. This is the creation of Allah SWT. SubhanaAllah..

6th June 2010, Sunday-the last day..
Today, we had been informed that there will be jungle trekking activity. Confirmed that I will not miss the moment. Everybody looked very energizing and exciting at the beginning of the journey. In the middle of the journey, we felt very exhausted. I kept on walking while repeating the same zikir to make me motivated till the end of the journey.alhamdulillah, we ended our journey safely although some of us involved in accidents[ pity of them]. Then, we took bath, prayed and had our lunch at 2.00pm. After that, we had closing ceremony. Uhh..I was so tired. My muscles were already in pain but still I can bear it. The bus came at about 4.30 pm and we arrived at the campus about 6.30 pm.

Salam to all bloggers. I'm just coming back from OLE-OLE shopping centre at Sec.18 with my best friend, Husna. We went there by foot as the location was just a stone threw away from my aunt's house. As we walked from shop to shop, we reached at one book shop which has many genres of book including religious book, novels, magazines and general knowledge. At first, I was caught by a book about business world which reveals the secret of Korean successful businessmen. At last, I found the right book to be read, that was Cinta Sufi by Ramlee Awang Murshid. For your information, this is the sequel of 'Trilogi bagaikan Puteri'. I was really excited to own this novel because I was very sure that the plot will be amazing. For me, it's a must read.

Maybe I take about 2 or 3 days to finish reading it but I think I will read it tonight. So, if you want to know the story please visit this blog again..

bEiNg A cOmMittEE foR TA'ARUF WEEK

Salam to all blogger..It has been a week since I come to PJ Campus for induction course and Taaruf Week. I was really shocked when I arrived here and registered at STAD Office because I was one of the catering members. I forgot if i had applied for that bureau..anyway, just enjoy the moment and maybe this time I'll learn something new.

There are many bureaus in this Taaruf committees such as Registration, Publicity & Protocol, Security & Transportation, and Special Task. Luckily, my head of committee is someone that;s very well-known in Nilai Campus especially in Facilitators Representative Committee (FRC). For that reason, I start thinking that I'll learn how to be a good leader and how to manage the tasks given to our bureau.

This picture is taken by ......( forgot already) but not all committee members there. Actually, the green batik was our last Taaruf Week when we were first year students. On that day, we were allowed to wear that green batik on night only.

There are so much experience that I got when i joined this committee. At first, I just thought that I'll get something new from this as my wish was not granted. I don't know how difficult the tasks given to us as I can't imagine it. During induction course, there were so many discussions taken place in order to make everything that we have planned smooth. But, sometimes I feel tensed of what they had discussed. Never mind, it's my own problem. For your info, Catering Committee had gone through three different phases- induction course, registration days and grand events. We had been told by our leader, Abu Zar that we should have a good and smooth plan to handle the situations. In fact, there will be something unexpected come up during the time. ' An event is subject to changes'. Therefore, we must prepare some back up plans in case something happened. For example, one the committees fell sick or the number of guests increase. In this case, there should be a master plan, back-up plan and floor plan. I think, It's not easy to manage the task if we don't have at least some experience but the most important thing is how ready you are to take the risks.

My principle of life is I'll try my best and failure is the best lesson.So, I dare to take the risk as long as I think that I'm capable and confident to do it. The more challenge, the better it'll be. Here, I learn how to be a good follower and a good leader.
During Registration days, we were very busy of working on supplying food to all Taaruf Committee members while they are working. We delivered some of the food and some were picked up from the station located in front of the IIUM's clinic. Pertaining to the challenge, sometimes the food was not ready yet even the time is coming. So, some of us become panicked and quite clumsy I think. The fact is, we should serve the food on time. That's what I had learned when I worked at KFC.

Klik, KLik, KLIK, we had reached to the final event in Taaruf Week, Welcoming and Baiah Ceremony. So, let me tell you what happened during that time. We had invited all our respected VIPs~ IIUM's Rector, CFS IIUM Dean, all Deputy Deans and all Head of Departments. There were some gimmicks prepared by OCC.

This was an effort showed by OCC and SENTRA collaboration.

mEnYinGkAp episod LAGENDA BUDAK SETAN..

Salam pembuka bicara. 3 Jun 2010 bakal mempersembahkan satu lagi santapan istimewa buat semua peminat dunia seni dan perfileman tanah air. Filem Lagenda Budak Setan bakal ditayangkan tidak lama lagi. Melihatkan sahaja trailer nya sudah memberikan satu gambaran bahawa filem ini bakal meletup di pawagam. Persoalannya, mampukah ia mencecah kutipan melebihi kutipan box office Jangan Pandang Belakang ?? Mungkin juga ia mampu mencipta rekod baru kerana sudah tentu para pembaca novel ini akan turut menjejakkan kaki ke panggung. Apa-apa pun, nantikan saja kemunculan filem ini pada 3 Jun ini.

Berikut merupakan sinopsis novel Lagenda Budak Setan karya Ahadiat Akashah :

Yang pastinya, saya merasakan bahawa filem ini benar-benar mendapat sambutan hangat, memandangkan trailer sahaja sudah berjaya mengangkat mood sebuah novel ke layar perak. Sinematografi yang memukau disusuli oleh angle yang menarik menjadi salah satu daya penarik filem ini.

Farid Kamil dan Lisa Surihani merupakan teraju utama filem ini dibantu oleh Raja Farah dan Que Haidar selaku pelakon pembantu. Tidak dapat dinafikan bahawa hero dan heroin filem I'm Not Single ini serasi apabila bergandingan bersama. Ada yang berpendapat bahawa gandingan ini mengingatkan kita kepada Azmil Mustafa dan Ogy Ahmad Daud pada era kegemilangan Budak Setan suatu ketika dahulu.

Jika anda mahu tahu, novel Lagenda Budak Setan ini punya sekuel yang mesti dibaca iaitu Katerina dan Kasyah-Lagenda Berakhir. Novel2 ini amat laris di pasaran pada era tahun 80an yang mana saya sendiri belum wujud di dunia ini.
Konklusinya, tonton sahaja filem ini sebelum anda melontarkan apa jua kritikan dan pujian.

Lelaki yang baik seperti Adam memang sukar ditemui....

Titian Perkahwinan...

Salam sejahtera buat semua rakyat Malaysia. Kali ini saya ingin membongkar nikmat membaca. Seperti yang kita semua sedia maklum, dengan membaca kita dapat membuka minda untuk berfikir lebih kritis dan kreatif dalam menghadapi cabaran dunia global. Buku-buku di atas adalah antara naskhah terbaik buat semua lapisan masyarakat yang mencari hala tuju sebenar seorang muslim. Saya cadangkan agar remaja mengambil peluang untuk menerokai alam praperkawinan dan perkahwinan yang indah luar dan dalam. Saya belum lagi berkesempatan untuk membaca AKU TERIMA NIKAHNYA tetapi kedua-dua sekualnya berjaya saya selami.

Buku ketiga-Murabbi Cinta telah saya miliki dengan penuh rasa kesyukuran dan kegembiraan. Penulis yang juga merupakan pengendali laman sesawang Saifilislam.com ini telah berkhidmat di luar negara lebih daripada 10 tahun sejak melanjutkan pengajian di sana. Saya amat tertarik dengan gaya penulisannya yang santai menyebabkan ia mudah diterima oleh semua golongan. Apa yang menarik ialah beliau berani mempertaruhkan rumahtangganya sendiri untuk dijadikan sebagai contoh. Memang banyak yang boleh kita ambil untuk dijadikan sebagai garis panduan dalam mengemudi alam perkahwinan dan fasa-fasa seterusnya. Dalam buku ketiga ini banyak menceritakan pengalaman beliau berhadapan dengan telatah dan karenah anak2 yang masih mentah. Saya amat suka dengan cara beliau mendidik anak-anaknya, melatih mereka berfikir dan menjadi dewasa. Itulah perkara yang sepatutmya dicontohi oleh para ibu bapa.

Saya juga telah menanam azam untuk mencorak anak-anak saya sebegitu supaya saya tidak menyesal kemudian hari. Kajian mendapati bahawa kita memerlukan 10 000 jam untuk menjadi pakar dalam sesuatu perkara. Hal ini terbukti apabila kita melihat bagaimana Hj Sidek melatih anak2nya bermain badminton seawal umur 7 tahun( anggaran sahaja). Dalam satu hari mungkin mereka berlatih selama empat jam dan jika mengikut perkiraan mereka boleh menjadi handal dalam masa 6 atau 7 tahun. Maka tidak hairanlah anak2 Sidek berjaya menjadi lagenda sukan badminton negara. Jadi, fikir-fikirkanlah wahai teman-teman sekalian...

Akhir kata, yang baik jadikan teladan yang buruk jadikan sempadan.

Skrip KECEWA Piala Thomas 2010

Salam sejahtera buat semua dan salam 1Malaysia..Kali ini post saya berkisar tentang Piala Thomas 2010. Semalam, 14 Mei 2010 merupakan hari yang sangat dinanti-nantikan oleh semua rakyat MAlaysia terutamanya peminat2 sukan negara. Hari yang bakal menentukan sama ada kita layak atau tidak untuk mara ke final Piala Thomas akan diketahui pada hari tersebut.

Permainan akan bermula seawal jam 7.30 malam. Sehari sebelum perlawanan di mana skuad kita baru sahaja berjaya menewaskan pasukan Denmark, pelbagai andaian dan hipotesis diutarakan oleh peminat2 setia sukan. Sememangnya ramai yang mengharapkan bahawa Malaysia mampu mengembalikan era kegemilangan dan semangat 1992, yang mana seperti yang kita tahu Piala Thomas menjadi milik Malaysia. Kita juga tahu bahawa gandingan adik-beradik Jailani dan Razif Sidek telah mencipta sejarah itu. Saya juga telah menyelami sajarah itu apabila menonton dokumentari SUATU KETIKA di Astro Ria dulu..memang naik semangat juang walaupun saya bukanlah pemain badminton..

Saya percaya bahawa semua rakyat Malaysia setia menanti di hadapan kaca tv malam itu. PErlawanan pertama, Lee Chong Wei vs LIn Dann bermula. Permulaannya nak tidak seperti yang sdiharapkan peminat2 sukan. Set pertama berakhir dengan kekalahan, disusuli dengan kemenangan mudah yang dicipta oleh Lin Dann. Permainan pertama ini memang amat penting dan bermakna untuk pasukan Malaysia kerana ia bakal menyuntik semangat juang rakan2 yang lain. Kekalahan demi kekalahan terpaksa dihadapi oleh skuad MAlaysia apabila pasukan beregu Koo Kien KIat- Tan Boon Liong gagal menewaskan lawan mereka, begitu juga Wong Choon Hann apabila menentang lawan yang 9 tahun muda daripadanya.

Mengulas tentang skrip kekecewaan ini memang perit. Nyata penantian selama 18 tahun yang ditunggu-tunggu untuk membawa pulang piala itu ke negara ini hanyalah tinggal kenangan. Mungkin lama lagi untuk kita menunggu Piala Thomas akan datang yang berlangsung di sini. Memang benarlah bahawa kemarau itu berpanjangan lagi. Dua tahun lagi bakal berlangsung lagi acara ini namun di negara orang. Sememangnya kemenangan yang dicari semasa bermain di tanah air sendiri akan mencipta seribu satu kenangan terindah karier badminton pemain2.

Apa yang dapat saya katakan ialah pemain2 kita hilang fokus semasa bermain. Keinginan yang tinggi untuk menang malah menggangu konsentrasi mereka. Hal ini dapat dilihat apabila mereka lambat bangkit apabila diserang bertubi-tubi. Seharusnya mereka bangkit dengan lebih TENANG bersama strategi yang lebih tersusun, bukan hanya mengikut rentak lawan masing2. Suka saya mengingatkan kalian bahawa sesungguhnya SEMANGAT MENGATASI KUDRAT. Persetankan kata2 orang keliling mengenai ranking mahupun rekod pemain, asalkan kita fokus semasa bermain. Sedar akan tujuan, lebih tenang dan mampu mengawal emosi sendiri. Namun, tiada apa yang mampu diubah kerana skrip kekecewaan itu sudah sampai ke tangan pengarahnya..

Back to the topic, aku akan menduduki MUET pada 24 Apr dan 3,4,5,10,11,12 Mei ni..So, sekarang nii ade lah wat revision sikit..kang kantoi menangis x berlagu kang~ sape nak jawab dik?? So far driving license is still in progress..sempat x sempat nak test JPJ tu hal kemudian la..asalkan aku dah start.

korang mesti tertanya2 nape la ade novel tu kat atas kan?? Sebenarnya, tu laa novel terbaru aku..dah habis bace dah..best laa untuk tahu cerita orang2 dewasa, bak kata org tua2~ melangkah ke alam baru..
